40th birthday black and white cake

~ the big "4-0"~ this was a fun concept for a 40th birthday cake, without it being too over the hill and depressing! It was actually really fun and classy! It was the fastest I've ever assembled and decorated a cake, as well! The party was a day earlier than she had requested, she just got her dates mixed up and I had about an hour to get all the decorations made, dried and on the cake! Wheeew- glad it got there in time! Luckily the decorations weren't too involved~
