Raspberry Rose Easter Cake

~for easter at my grandmas house, in conjunction with my grandpa's birthday~ this was a white tall cake with pieces of whole fresh rasberries in the cake batter, filled with alternating layers of rasberry filing and rasberry icing then frosted in rasberry lace frosting which consisted of a mix of fresh rasberries, rasberry syrup and some other secret rasberry ingredients! It smelled and tasted fresh and springy!!
