Charlee's Angels

Miles and miles of cupcakes!!!! At least that's how it looked in my kitchen, then in my car! These 276 (yep- 23 dozen!) cupcakes were made with love for me to sell at a fundraiser yard sale for my niece Charlee who is battling the terminal genetic disease called Batten Disease. It is a horrible and sad disease that will take our 5 year old Charlee from us. The fundraiser went great and we were able to help raise quite a bit for the cost of her medical care. Here are some pics from the day!

Sweet Bailey's 8th Birthday and Baptism

 

Happy 8th birthday to sweet little Bailey! Cake and cookies for her birthday/ baptism party! The cake was French vanilla with a raspberry fluff buttercream and raspberry filing, and both the cake and the almond sugar cookies were covered in layers of pearl dust to give it an extra special sparkle!

Sweet 16 Pina Colada Party!

This was a fun party idea for my niece's sweet 16 birthday hosted by her sister (Amber of the butterfly papers ). The party theme was kind of an Orange is the happiest color/ "nectarine" colors and Pina Colada flavors. So much fun to do a cake in such rich summery colors! Orange and Red swirl cake was flavored in Pina Colada, frosting in pineapple with a hint of coconut, topped with 60 Pina Colada cupcakes for the guests!

Star Trek Themed Party complete with the cast and crew of the movie, the Starfleet Emblem and topped it all off with some lavender lemon cake pops (no relation to the movie :)
