Iced Pink and White Winter Wedding Cake

~congrats to the happy couple, Candace and Chris Caldwell!! for the wedding held at Le Jardin's beautiful greenhouse, the bride requested a four tier pink and white cake. we worked to put together pieces cakes to create one unique for her, and here's what we came up with~

 

Christmas Cookies and Treats

~100 christmas cupcakes for our relief society christmas dinner~ cupcakes are devils food chocolate with peppermint buttercream frosting complete with candy cane chips on top (my house smelled YUMMY!). Each cupcake topped with a fondant present to match the theme~

~Congrats to Twisted Loxx Salon on their grand opening! (2487 W 12600 S) I was asked them

some yummy cake pops for the party, with lots of glitz to go with them~

Halloween Cakes and Treats

the time of year we here at the nelson household love- holiday season!!! First up-Halloween, which also means our annual Halloween party! This year we had about 62 people, the more the merrier! Here's the desert table:

   Not all food shown, but featured were: nutter butter ghosts, peanut butter eyeballs, chocolate covered oreos, murder scene cupcakes, marshmallow pretzel chocolate covered bones, grop mix (always a favorite), homemade oreos and of course sugar cookies. Cake pictured was a chocolate coffin cake with a red velvet cake skull head popping out the top!

Fireman Cake

~fireman cake for big 6 year old fireman josh! I have to admit, the fire part made me want to make a hunger games Catniss fire cake , but firemen it is! cake is devils food chocolate cake with bavarian cream filling. fireman is fondant covered rice krispies and painted. very special cake for very special boy~

   

Whimsical 1st Birthday Tea Party

~beautifully done tea party for alexis’ first birthday by Mary Clark. main cake was lemon cake with light buttercream frosting on the bottom and chocolate cake with fresh raspberry whipped frosting on top, iced with peach ombre style palette frosting and finished off with sugar peony. Smash cake was almond cake with light lemon frosting in smudged dot style. what a cute party for a cute little girl!
